Forget American Idol we're looking for the Rocky Balboa of Texas Country Music. This summer we will embark upon the fourth year of Shiner Rising Star where 32 of the hottest unsigned bands in Texas will "Battle their Hearts Out" in front of a panel of celebrity judges each week, hoping to be the next Shiner Rising Star! The Shiner Rising Star receives:
- A record contract on the nationally distributed Shiner Records Label.
- A two week recording session with a nationally acclaimed record producer.
- Main stage slot at the TMR 12.
- Promotional support from Shiner Bock.
- Radio airplay across the nation and much more...
