Round One, Day Six

 If you weren’t out at La Grange this past Thursday night for Shiner Rising Star, you sure should have been! Joshua Jones, Kelly Dearmore, and Brett Dillon were faced with another tough night of judging. The Driftin Outlaw and Andrew Delaney bands entertained the crowd with their creative country style and lyrics. However,The Robert Donahue band held nothing back and  managed to win over the judges! Big Thanks to La Grange for having us and for ALL who came out to support these talented bands!

In Deep Ellum this Thursday night at 8pm, La Grange will be hosting Shiner Rising Star! Andrew Delaney Band, The Driftin Outlaw Band, and Robert Donahue Band will battle it out for the sixth spot to continue on in the Shiner Rising Star competition. Special Guest Judges this week that you can’t miss are KHYI DJ Brett Dillon, Acclaimed Music Critic for the Dallas Observer,Kelly Dearmore, and the unforgettable, unforgivable captain of The Range, Joshua Jones! Be ready to drink and ready to jam!

The Rock Bottom Ramblers stole the show and had everyone on their feet this past Thursday night for round one, week five of Shiner Rising Star! Big thanks to Main St. Liquid Company and to our guest judges; Brett Dillon, Darryl Lee Rush, and Kelly Dearmore for their professional feedback and hilarious comments. Two Door Ford and Mike Schikora's performances made it an all around memorable night of country music!
